Participant Waiver & Release of Liability

Parents/guardians agree to this waiver during registration. Questions? Email harryauster@gmail.com.

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that basketball training involves physical activity, including running, jumping, cutting, and contact with other participants and equipment, which carries an inherent risk of injury. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with my child's participation in Harry's Hoops programs.

2. Release of Liability

In consideration of my child's participation, I release and hold harmless Harry's Hoops Basketball Training, Harry Auster, and any facilities hosting sessions (including Beth Tfiloh School), from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of my child's participation, to the fullest extent permitted by Maryland law.

3. Medical Authorization

I certify that my child is physically able to participate. In the event of an injury or emergency, I authorize program staff to seek appropriate medical care for my child and to contact me using the emergency contact information provided at registration.

4. Photo Release (Optional)

If selected at registration, I grant Harry's Hoops permission to use photographs of my child taken during sessions — without names — on the program website and social media. This consent is optional and may be withdrawn at any time by email.

5. Refunds

Full refunds are available up to 7 days before a program's first session. After that, refunds are handled case-by-case — just talk to us. Waitlist registrations are never charged.

This waiver is a starting template and will be finalized after review by the program's legal/insurance advisors.
